Sanlam increases its stake in Pan Africa Insurance

The South African insurer Sanlam is investing approximately 200 million KES (2.3 million USD) to acquire an additional 5.6% of Pan Africa Insurance’s capital. Sanlam controls 60% of the Kenyan insurer. This majority stake is now sufficient to influence business decisions and impose changes in the composition of the board of directors.
