SCOR P&C: structural changes and new appointments

ScorSCOR P&C has made changes to its organizational structure. All appointments took effect on 1 October 2020.

The French reinsurer announced the creation of a new position: Regional P&C Manager for the EMEA (Middle East, Europe and Africa) and Americas (North and South America).

The change comes with further team reorganization divided into four regions: Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific Mature Markets (APAC) and Emerging Markets (Fast Growth Markets).

A Global Chief Client Officer position was also created.

Zone Managers:

EMEA Manager: Stuart McMurdo, who also retains his role as General Manager of the Specialty Reinsurance business in EMEA.  Responsible for the Americas zone: John Jenkins who also continues to act as CEO of the reinsurance business in the Americas.

Regional managers: Michel Blanc, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the reinsurance activity and Umberto Gavazzi, Deputy CEO take charge of the four new regions.

Europe: Anne-Marie Cical, Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) and Charles Bartlett Deputy CUO

North America: Nick Nudo, Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO)

Mature Asia Pacific Markets: David Johnstone, Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) 

Emerging countries: Eric Jenck, CUO assisted by Pierre Favennec, regional assistant CUO

The aforementioned region is subdivided into three entities:

  • Middle East and Africa led by Hedi Hachicha
  • Latin America and the Caribbean led by James Grieve
  • Emerging Markets Asia Pacific led by Mukul Kishore

P&C Partners, Pricing & Modeling and other cross-functional organizations: Retrocession Manager: Benoit Liot

Pricing and Modeling Manager: Doug Lacoss

Strategy, business development and marketing manager: Guilhem Horvath
