SCOR: solid performance for the first nine months of 2015

The performance  achieved by SCOR in the first nine months of 2015 showed a strong growth compared to that fulfilled in 2014. At the end of the same reporting periods, the net result, which increased by 31% went from 377 million EUR (478.3 million USD) to 492 million EUR (553.2 million USD). The overall turnover followed the same trend with a rise of 19.3% at 9 996 million EUR (11 240 million USD). Shareholder's equity, meanwhile, totaled 6 104 million EUR (6 863 million USD), up by 6.5%. The non life net combined ratio improved by 0.8 points from 91.6% to 90.8%.

It is SCOR Global Life which reported the largest turnover increase, + 19.9%, for an amount of 5 641 million EUR (6 343 million USD) during the first nine months of 2015.

Premiums written by the non life subsidiary SCOR Global P&C, which were of 3 679 million EUR (4 136 million USD) at the end of September 2014 increased by 18.4% and reached 4 356 million EUR (4 898 million USD) twelve months later.
