Seminar on oil risk management

The Gabonese reinsurance company called «Société Commerciale Gabonaise de Réassurance» (SCG-Ré) and its partner Omnium Reinsurance Company (ORC) have organised a seminar on the 28th and 29th of march 2019.

The session was held in Libreville where oil and insurance experts have gathered together to address the risks pertaining to transport and tackle the issues of oil products distribution.

The event aims at familiarizing the market with the new risks and enhancing the underwriting and local insurers retention capacities.

Gabon has never hosted such a seminar before. The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Petroleum and Hydrocarbons.
