SMA is considering a possible estblishment in Cote d'Ivoire
SMA has announced its intention to set up in Cote d'Ivoire. Founded in 1859, the French group, specialized in construction insurance is already present in Spain and Portugal.
It consists of two mutuals: SMA BTP, specializing in property and liability insurance and SMA vie, specializing in personal insurance.
According to its CEO Bernard Millequant, the group's desire to settle in Côte d'Ivoire is due to the economic revival of the country and parameters that are extremely favorable parameters for the development of the building and public works (BPW) insurance in this market.
