Société Centrale de Réassurance: results 2019

The Société Centrale de Réassurance(SCR) recorded a turnover of 2 017 million MAD (207.872 million USD) in 2019 against 2 023 million MAD (211.525 million USD) a year earlier, which represents a slight decrease of 0.3%.

Net income stood at 277.91 million MAD (28.641 million USD) versus 300 million MAD (31.368 million USD) in 2018. ROE remained stable at 11.2%. The combined ratio improved by 7.7 points from 92.3% in 2018 to 84.6% in 2019.

SCR continued its satisfactory international development, with a 12% increase in premiums. It is from its headquarters in Casablanca and its three regional offices: Abidjan, Cairo and Kigali that SCR operates internationally.
