Standard & Poor's downgrades Lloyd's outlook

Standard & Poor's downgraded, on October 12, 2017, Lloyd's outlook from "stable" to "negative."

The rating agency justifies this decision by the deterioration of the London market capitalization following the passage of the three major hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.

For these three claims, the insurer is expected to cope with a net loss of 3.3 billion GBP (4.4 billion USD).
