STAR, 2015 results

The Société Tunisienne d'Assurances et de Réassurances (STAR) closed the year 2015 with a net result of 73.45 million TND (36.33 million USD), which is an increase of 229.3% compared to the 22.3 million TND (12 million USD) achieved in 2014.

with a total of 231.384 million TND (114.449 million USD), the incurred losses increased by 13.78% compared to 2014. the shareholder's equity of the company progressed from 455.801 million TND (245. 275 million USD) in 2014 to 260.560 million TND (128.880 million USD) in 2015.

The turnover rose y 6% from 288.208 million TND (155.090 million USD) to 305.542 million TND (151.130 million USD) at 31 December 2015.

The Board of directors meeting on March 22, 2016, suggested a dividend payment of 9.2 TND (4.55 USD) per share against 3.4 TND (1.83 USD) in 2014, up by 171% in one year.
