Star National increases its capital

The Société Tchadienne d'Assurance et de Réassurance (Star Nationale) has raised its capital from 500 000 000 FCA (1 093 500 USD) to 1 000 000 000 FCFA (2 187 000 USD). Being in conformity with the Cima code requirements, this decision was taken on November 17, 2008 by the company's extraordinary general assembly. In 2007, the Star Nationale reported a turnover of 5 618 947 732 FCFA (12 288 643 USD) and a profit of 137 952 757 (301 702 USD).
