Strengthening insurance offers to the Turkish construction companies operating in Africa

During the civil war in Libya, 150 Turkish building and public works companies had to suspend their activities in 388 projects. In an effort to protect these companies from such events, an insurance framework has recently been established. A range of insurance products is now covering Turkish companies against political risks on the entire African continent. Turkey believes that trade in Africa will generate sums as high as 15 billion USD by 2015.
