Substantial life potential in Europe

According to a study by Swiss Re in 12 European countries, gaps exist in the coverage of life insurance. For 10% of the respondents, it is the lack of confidence in the insurers, whose products are deemed insufficient , that keeps them away from life insurance. Conversely, 11% of people believe they have good coverage for death, disability or illness. The Swiss and the Dutch seem to be in the forefront. The study has assessed the potential of new premiums at 25 billion EUR (35 billion USD).
