Swiss Life to acquire a portfolio of Parisian offices

Swiss lifeTerreïs, a real estate company, sells to Swiss Life Asset Managers France a set of Parisian buildings, representing 72% of its assets. The transaction unveiled on Thursday 30 May 2019 amounted to 1.7 billion euros. The share price increased by 34% as soon as the transaction was announced.

Terreïs' portfolio acquisition is the biggest real estate transaction ever carried out by Swiss Life. It has allowed the latter to acquire 28 Haussmann buildings, all located on the right bank, in the Central Business District of Paris, a preferred place for companies to set up their headquarters.
