Takaful International Company launches a new logo

The Bahraini insurer Takaful International Company launched its new logo on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the hotel Ritz-Carlton Bahrain.

The announcement of this new graphic identity completes the acquisition of Takaful International's shares by Gulf Insurance Group (GIG) in 2015 who became, then, the majority shareholder of Takaful International. The logo symbolizes the synergy of the two companies.

Founded in 1989, Takaful is the first Islamic insurance company in Bahrain. It recorded a turnover of 52.36 million USD in 2017.

As a reminder, the Kuwaiti entered the capital of Takaful International via its subsidiary Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BKIC) with a first acquisition of 40.93% of shares in 2015 and 77.25% in 2018.
