Takaful obtains the approval of British authorities

Being the first independent takaful insurance company to obtain license from the British authorities, Principle Insurance, initially named British Islamic Insurance Holdings, is proposing at the end of the year 2008 a range of products in compliance with Islamic precepts.
Presided by Abdulaziz Hamad Aljomaih, Principle is endowed with a capital of 120 million USD distributed among institutional and private investors of Asia and Middle East, including Saudi Arabia with 45,7%.
