The 2008 AMSA (life) turnover is sky rocketing

Senegal's six life companies are posting excellent results in 2008. The palm award goes to the market's leader, AMSA (life) whose turnover is growing by 287%. It reached 5.866 billion FCFA (12.9 million USD) compared to 1.516 billion FCFA (3.4 million USD) in 2007. Number two Allianz life is progressing by 45% at 4.38 billion FCFA (9.6 million USD).
The other insurers, in decreasing order of premiums, are UASEN (life) with 3.900 billion FCFA (8.5 million USD) (+14%), SONAM (life) with 3.79 billion FCFA (8.3 million USD (+26%), ILICO with 1. 907 billion FCFA (4.195 million USD) (+11%) and NSIA (life) with 0.892 billion FCFA (1.962 million USD) (-1%).
