The Fédération Nationale des Courtiers et Agents d'Assurance (FNACAM) has rejected some proposals designed for the development of insurance

FNACAM has dismissed some proposals introduced by the firm in charge of defining the framework of “program contract”. The items rejected are the following: the introduction of a minimum capital of 500 000 MAD (63 850 USD) for general agents, corporate bodies and of 1 000 000 MAD (127 700 USD) for brokers; the permit for travel agencies to offer travel insurance products, the possibility of distributing health insurance by micro-credit agencies. According to FNACAM, these proposals stand as an impediment to the development of intermediaries go against the professionalism looked for in insurance.
