The Indian authorities grant preliminary approvals to four European reinsurers

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDAI) has issued preliminary approvals to four European reinsurers, namely SCOR, Munich Re, Hannover Re and Swiss Re, to operate in India.
Final approvals will be granted before the end of April, 2016.
