The insurance market is no longer developed

In 2006, the premium volume of the Chinese insurance market amounted to 80 billion USD. With 46 USD premium per inhabitant, China is still lagging well behind the developed markets. In the United States, for instance, the per-capita yearly insurance premium amounts to 3875 USD.
