The insurance sector employs 1378 staff members in 2008

According to a survey conducted by Bahrain's Central Bank, the insurance sector employs 1378 staff members in 2008. This figure is 24.5% higher that that of 2007. The Bahraini manpower has a total of 854 people versus 719 in 2007, that is, an 18% increase. Women account for 38% of the local labor force.
