The insurance sector is undergoing the process of emiratisation

The insurance supervisory authorities hopes to promote people of UAE nationals in the banking and insurance industries.

This strategy is consistent with the principles pursued by UAE Vision 2021. It attempts to create a business environment conducive to local managers.
It aims to develop know-how and expertise to the greatest number of nationals so they can integrate these sectors in key positions.

This "Emiratisation"movement is a system based on points awarded depending on the number of inhabitants and gross premiums. It will apply to all insurance companies registered in the country.
