The regulation of Takaful insurance still on standby

Insurance professionals are still awaiting for the issuance of regulations governing Takaful activities. The drafting of legislation by the insurance and social welfare supervisory authority (ACAPS) has not yet been completed.

It is in March 2017 that the initial versions of the project are due to be ready. A consultation with all of the stakeholders will then be held.
