The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, among the most profitable insurance markets

According to a study carried out jointly by Ernest & Young (EY) and Oxford Economics, the Emirati and Saudi insurance markets remain profitable, despite the economic uncertainties in the region.

The conclusions of the study "Issues in Emerging Markets" are based in particular on the structural reforms initiated in both kingdoms with the adoption of legislation favorable to the development of the sector.

Out of the 22 countries surveyed for the rapid growth of their insurance premiums, the Emirati and Saudi markets rank respectively 10th and 11th. Finally, the two kingdoms are in the sixth and seventh positions of the "low risk countries" ranking.
