The World Bank provides training on agricultural insurance

The World Bank has launched a training program for agricultural risks open to various institutions in Ghana and in the English-speaking Western Africa. This program is designed to reduce the impact of bad weather on the income of farmers. Malawi, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Burkina Faso are already part of the test countries where such programmes are in place. The training has been financed by the AAACP (All African Caribbean Pacific Agricultural Commodities Programme).
