Top 5 Filipino non-life insurers in 2019

The Commission of Insurance of the Philippines has released the unaudited results of the year 2019.

The top five non-life companies are classified in descending order:

• Malayan Insurance Company (MICI) with a premium volume of 12.25 billion PHP (241.10 million USD)
• Prudential Guarantee & Assurance (PGAI) with 10.11 billion PHP (198.98 million USD)
• Pioneer Insurance & Surety with 10.08 billion PHP (198.40 million USD)
• BP/MS Insurance with 6.12 billion PHP (120.45 million USD)
• Charter Ping An Insurance with 5.54 billion PHP (109.04 million USD)

The Filipino non-life market (includes xxx companies). It recorded a turnover of 92.48 billion PHP (1.82 billion USD) increasing by 13.51% compared to 2018.
