TransRe settles in Luxembourg

Transatlantic Holdings (TransRe) is transferring its European subsidiary from Zurich to Luxembourg. This transfer aims at strengthening the presence of the US reinsurer in Europe.

The offices in Munich, Paris, Zurich and Dubai will represent branches under the control of the head office in Luxembourg.

This reorganization, which will end in mid-2019, will simplify the corporate structure in the old continent. TransRe's workforce in Luxembourg will be strengthened and expanded.

The company believes that this decision of transfer will have no impact on its rating.
