Tunisia: Online registration for vaccination against Covid-19 begins

Tunisia initiated online registrations for the vaccination campaign on 20 January 2021. Registrations can be done on the portal https://www.evax.tn/ or via mobile phone by dialing *2021#.

The Tunisian government has signed with various pharmaceutical laboratories as well as Covax to receive an initial order of 10 million doses that will be delivered gradually. The first doses of vaccine are expected to arrive in February. The aim is to start by vaccinating 5 million citizens, nearly 50% of the population.

According to the Ministry of Health's plans, at least 12 000 people will be vaccinated per day.
