UAB vie (life), "Cauri d’or" (Golden Cauri) contract

As of March 15, 2011, the "Cauri d’or" contract premiums will be collected by mobile phone. UAB-vie (life), which is marketing this micro-life insurance product, plans to reach 200 000 customers in two years. Thanks to mobile telephony, the "Cauri d’or" contract which was marketed only in Ouagadougou will be gradually extended to other major cities of Burkina Faso.
