UAE Expo Dubai 2020 postponed

The Emirati government officially called for the postponement of Expo Dubai 2020. The international fair was expected to attract around 25 million tourists and boost the country’s economy.

The event, which was initially planned from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021, may be held from 1 October 2020 until 31 March 2022.

This delay will significantly impact insurance companies that will have to pay cancellation or deferral claims. The event’s organization cost amounts to several billion dollars.
