Urbanites hardly sensitive to insurance

An Indian survey, conducted by the insurer HDFC Life with 1600 urban Indians scattered around 11 cities of the country, found that these people are hardly sensitive to insurance. This apathy is party accounted for by the income decline per household. The study nonetheless shows that the population is aware of the need to plan these investments and that in general, people are quite disciplined about the issue.
