Wafa Assurance, substantial increase of turnover

With 5.28 billion MAD (616 million USD), Wafa Assurance has reported a 17.4% increase of its turnover in 2011. It is life insurance that reported a premiums volume of 2.828 billion MAD (330 million USD) and a 25.1% growth, which is sustaining the company’s activities. Non-life turnover amount to 2.452 billion MAD (286 million USD), that is, 9.6% more than 2010. Wafa Assurance has posted a net profit of 810 million MAD (94.5 million USD) in 2011, an 11.9% growth in comparison with 2010.
