Warren Buffet would be interested by the Indian market

According to the information site VC Circle, Berkshire Hathaway is keen on investing 5 to 10% in Bajaj Finserv. This holding has an overall responsibility for the life and non-life activities of Bajaj Allianz Life and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, a joint venture between Bajaj and Allianz. The German insurer detains 26% in its shares, the legal maximum share a foreigner is entitled to control within an Indian group. This limit is poised to go up to 49%. The Indian market remains quite promising since only 320 million out of the 1.28 billion Indians are insured. The insurance share in the GDP is of 4.22% compared to 10% in other regional countries.
