Zurich Assurances Maroc has officially changed its name

Following its acquisition by the group Allianz for 244 million EUR (270 million USD) in June 2016, Zurich Assurances Maroc proceeded to the change of its name on 28th December 2016. The insurer is now called Allianz Maroc.

It is also at this date that Moroccan authorities granted their approval for the takeover move. The official announcement of identity change has been made during a press conference held on 22nd February 2017.
