Zurich offers an insurance plan for the coverage of supply chain

Insurer Zurich has developed a specific coverage for supply chain which it intends to market in Singapore and Hong Kong. The insured who underwrites this product will be entitled from the outset to risk evaluation services performed by specialized engineers. All of the supply chain will be examined in order to identify and assess customer exposure. The elements gathered combined to other sources of data will allow the setting of a rate to be paid by the customer.

This coverage will compensate the insured against any disruption of supply chain and rising costs due to the search for new suppliers.
