Abdelilah Laamarti has recently joined Wafa Assurance as advisor to the company's President. He holds a degree in engineering from École Centrale de Paris and two master's degrees; in business administration and in mechanics both from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
A. Laamarti started his career in the insurance industry in 1994 with Alliance Africaine des Assurances. After working with Atlanta, he joined Sanad in 2005 as Deputy General Manager and later as General Manager. By late 2019, he retired from Sanad. Laamarti’s appointment took effect on 7 September 2020.
