ACAL: election of a new board of directors

The Association of Insurance Companies in Lebanon (ACAL) has elected a new Board of Directors composed of Elie Nasnas, General Manager of AXA Middle East, as Chairman and Fateh Bekdache, CEO of AROPE Insurance as Vice Chairman.

Mohamad Al Hibri, representing the Arab Lebanese Insurance Group, has been appointed secretary of the board and Abdo Al-Khoury, United Industrial Corporation, has been appointed treasurer.

The new board is also composed of eight other members:

• Michel Fiani, SGBL Assurances
• Pierre Sebaalani, Bancassurance
• Oussama Salman, GroupMed Insurance & Reinsurance Co
• Joseph Khawan, Securite Assurance
• Ali Gebaii, Trust Compass Insurance
• Assaad Mirza, The Capital Insurance and Reinsurance Co
