Africa Specialty Risks announces two new appointments

Keith Barrett has joined Africa Specialty Risks (ASR) as Marine Underwriter. Based in London, he will report to Aurelien Sauty, Head of Aviation and Marine.

Barrett brings 40 years of experience in the African insurance market, having held senior roles at Swiss Re Africa and Mutual & Federal (now Old Mutual Insure).

Yassine Asskour has been appointed Property Underwriter at ASR’s Casablanca office.

Asskour began his career in 2012 and has accumulated 14 years of experience in the Moroccan insurance sector. During his career, he has held senior positions at several companies, including Saham, AXA, and most recently Atlantic Re.
