Allianz has published its key business indicators for the first quarter of the current year.
The German group posted a turnover of 48.4 billion EUR (52.2 billion USD) as at 31 March 2024, representing a 5.3% growth over one year.
Net profit improved by 15.7% to 2.5 billion EUR (2.7 billion USD). At 4 billion EUR (4.3 billion USD), the operating result was 6.8% higher than the one recorded in the first quarter of 2023.
Shareholders' equity stood at 60 billion EUR (64.7 billion USD) against 58 billion EUR (64.2 billion USD) as at 31 December 2023.
