A.M. Best to assign A (excellent) rating to Orient Takaful Insurance Egypt

A.M. Best has assigned the Financial Strength Rating (FSR) of “A” (excellent), and a Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of “a+” to Orient Takaful Insurance Egypt, a member company of the Al-Futtaim Group. For both ratings, the outlook is stable.

The rating reflects the insurer's excellent ability to fulfill its commitments towards its policyholders and meet its financial obligations.

The agency has also upgraded the long-term credit rating of Orient Insurance PJSC, domiciled in the United Arab Emirates and parent company of Orient Takaful Insurance Egypt to “a+” from “a” with stable outlook.

It has also affirmed the Financial Strength Rating (FSR) of “A” with stable outlook
