Amitabha Ray, Swiss Re's new CEO for India

Amitabha Ray has been promoted Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Swiss Re's India branch. He is taking over from Hadi Riachi, who has been appointed Head of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions' Underwriting Center.

Pending regulatory approval, the appointment will take effect on 1 April 2024.

A. Ray joined the Swiss group in 1997, where in 27 years of service he has assumed several positions of responsibility in Zurich, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mumbai and Johannesburg.
