Arthur J. Gallagher acquires Aspera

US broker Arthur J. Gallagher has acquired Aspera Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliði, based in Istanbul, Turkey.

The terms and amount of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Aspera is an insurance and reinsurance broker specializing in energy and power, industrial property, financial lines, construction, aviation and space.

Evrim Özkoç, a founding member of Aspera, and his current team will remain with the company, under the leadership of Gündüz Tezel, CEO of Gallagher in Turkey.
