Assurances BIAT has ended the financial year 2022 with a 20.3% increase in its turnover as it went from 171.4 million TND (59.5 million USD) as at 31 December 2021 to 206.3 million TND (65.7 million USD) one year later.
The life premiums have progressed by 24% to reach 117.4 million TND (37.4 million USD). Non-life underwritings have climbed by 16% over twelve months to reach 88.9 million TND (28.3 million USD).
The Tunisian insurer's net profit has gone up by 21.7% to 19.6 million TND (6.2 million USD) compared to the end of 2021.
As at 31 December 2022, the company's shareholders' equity stood at 79.03 million TND (25.2 million USD). The share capital remains unchanged at 22 million TND (7 million USD).
