Atlanta Assurances displays sound results in 2017

Atlanta Assurances posted 193 million MAD (20.69 million USD) in net results by 31 December 2017, up by 20% in comparison with the 161 million MAD (15.99 million USD) posted in 2016.

The turnover of the Moroccan insurer also reported a substantial growth of 17.1%, rising from 1.939 billion MAD (192.6 million USD) in 2016 to 2.271 billion MAD (243.43 million USD) in 2017.

With 1.845 billion MAD (197.77 million USD) in premiums, the non life class of business has grown by 8.6%, accounting for more than 80% of the underwritings. The life business, on its part, reported a considerable rise of 77.4% at 426 million MAD (45.66 million USD).
