Ayman Kandil, new President and CEO of AXA Philippines

Ayman Kandil has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AXA Philippines. He succeeds Bernardo Serrano López, who has been called to fill other roles within the AXA Group. The appointment will take effect on 1 October 2024.

A graduate of Cairo University and the American University in Cairo, A. Kandil has over 26 years' experience in the insurance industry. Throughout his professional career, he has held, among others, the position of Chief Operating Officer of Metlife Egypt.

In 2015, he joined the French AXA Group to assume several senior positions within its subsidiaries in Egypt and the Philippines.
