Bad weather causes important damage in Turkey

Torrential rains fell on 18 July 2017 on Istanbul and its region causing major damage. No casualties were reported.

Many vehicles were washed away by the waters while the road infrastructure was partially damaged. Bad weather has also paralyzed public transport.

According to initial estimates, the loss could cost insurers nearly 57 million USD.
