Chedid Capital, new appointment

The Lebanese investment group Chedid Capital has announced the appointment of Stuart Davies as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Milestone Risk Solutions Limited (UK) and Member of the Strategic Committee of Momentum Insurance (Cayman Islands).

Stuart Davies has more than 20 years' experience in the London insurance market. His previous positions include: CEO of Sompo Canopius reinsurance, CEO of the Lloyd's Aegis London syndicate, Executive Chairman of the Darag insurance and reinsurance group and Chairman of Elseco MGA.

Milestone Risk Solutions Limited, an insurance and reinsurance broker for Lloyd's syndicates, became a member of the Chedid Capital holding company in 2023 following the acquisition of Trilogy Managing General Agents (MGA).

This appointment will allow the Lebanese holding company to strengthen its cross-border governance structure to support its dynamic expansion in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Europe.
