Atlas Magazine has published its 2025 ranking of non-life insurers in the CIMA zone. The ranking is based on 2023 statistics provided by the Federation of African National Insurance Companies (FANAF).
The ranking offers a general classification of non-life companies in the sub-region, based on a scoring system that incorporates factors such as turnover, operating results/written premiums, combined ratio, shareholders' equity, coverage ratio of regulated liabilities, admissible assets, turnover by class of business and productivity per employee.
