Finnish man fined 129 500 USD for speeding

Anders Wiklöf, a 76-year-old Finnish multimillionaire, has been fined 121 000 EUR (129 500 USD) for speeding.

The businessman was flashed at 82km/h, that is, 30km/h over the speed limit.

In Finland, the amount of the fine is calculated according to the driver's income, which explains the large amount imposed on A. Wiklöf.

It should be noted that the multimillionaire had already been fined 95 000 EUR (101 633 USD) and 63 680 EUR (68 126 USD) for speeding in 2013 and 2018 respectively. This fact has further compounded the calculation of the current penalty.
