GAM Assurances launches a general Takaful window

Générale Assurance Méditerranéenne (GAM Assurances) is to launch a Takaful window and sell non-life products from April 2022 onwards.

In 2021, the Algerian insurer has been approved by the Ministry of Finance to set up a general Takaful window for forty Takaful contracts.

The setting up of the new business is pending approval from the Ministry of Finance's Insurance Department.
