GAM Assurances rebrands its Takaful window as “Takafulia Li Taaminat”

Générale Assurance Méditerranéenne (GAM Assurances) has unveiled “Takafulia Li Taaminat”, the new commercial identity of its Takaful window, marking a strategic move amid the continued growth of Algeria’s Takaful insurance market.

In 2021, the insurer received approval from the Ministry of Finance to establish a General Takaful window.

This was followed in 2022 by the issuance of a Shari’ah compliance certificate from the National Shari’ah Fatwa Authority for the Islamic Finance Industry, authorizing the marketing of its Takaful insurance products.
