GIC, increased profits by 31%

Gulf Insurance Company (GIC) has published a net profit of 9.3 million KWD (33 million USD) in 2012, an increase of 31% over the previous year. Gross written premiums were up by 9% at145.4 million KWD (516.5 million USD). The company hopes to achieve a growth of 9% in 2013. Shareholder’s equity, amounting to 72.9 million KWD (259 million USD), are up 10% in 2012.
